No, we do not offer group executive functioning classes. We believe that one-on-one coaching helps students learn better than in groups. It allows coaches to build a rapport and connection with the students and give them the individual attention they need.
Unlike typical tutors who focus on individual subjects, our executive function coaching in Houston helps students develop essential learning and life skills. From improving time management and organization to building self-regulation and goal-setting abilities, we equip students with tools that not only boost academic performance but also support long-term success.
It depends. While many of our students begin to see significant academic improvements in a relatively short period of time, success in the grade book does not necessarily mean that a student has internalized what they did to achieve their newfound success. Our service is built on the premise that lasting and sustainable academic improvement is achieved through behavior change.
We recommend that students new to the practice engage in academic coaching for at least one semester (or 16 weeks). We have found that this is the minimum length of time typically required to experience behavior change.
